DESCRIPTION:CLICK HERE TO REGISTER FOR OUR 2024 ANNUAL MEETING AND CONFERENCE\nOur fabulous Annual Meeting and Conference will be held August 6 – 10\, 2024\, in Washington\, D.C. \nThe big event is scheduled in conjunction with Lavender Law\, the annual conference of the U.S.-based National LGBTQ+ Bar Association.  Our Annual Meeting and Conference attracts judges from multiple countries\, including Canada\, the U.S.\, and others. \nTo maximize your participation in our events\, we recommend arriving no later than the afternoon of Tuesday\, August 6\, and departing no earlier than Saturday\, August 10.  \nThis year\, Lavender Law and the LGBTQ+ Judges Annual Meeting and Conference will be held at the Westin Washington D.C. Downtown\, 999 9th Street NW\, Washington\, DC 20001. \nHere is the schedule of events for our Annual Meeting and Conference: \n  \nTuesday\, August 6 \nRegistration\, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. \nPresident’s Welcome Reception\, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. \n  \nWednesday\, August 7 \nJudicial Education Institute – Topic: Judicial Safety & Security\, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. \nLGBTQ+ Judges Annual Meeting\, 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. \nJudges’ Reception with Law Students\, 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. \nLavender Law Opening Reception\, 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. \n  \nThursday\, August 8 \nLavender Law Panel Discussions & Institutes with Judges (All Day) \nU.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum Specialized Judicial Tour\, 8:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. \nNational Museum of Women in the Arts Tour\, 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. \n  \nFriday\, August 9 \nLGBTQ+ Training in Africa Seminar\, 10:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. \nSmithsonian LGBTQ+ Archives Tour\, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. \nLGBTQ+ Judges Annual Dinner\, 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. \nPrivate Karaoke Room & Sing-Along\, 8:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. \n  \nSaturday\, August 10 \nFarewell Brunch\, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. \n  \nIn general\, there is no registration fee for our Annual Meeting and Conference\, but there will be event-specific charges for the Annual Dinner and the National Museum of Women in the Arts tour.  In addition\, to participate in our Annual Meeting\, you must be a dues-paid member of our Association. \nHere is the link to pay your LGBTQ+ Judges dues for 2024: \nAnnual Membership – LGBTQ+ Judges \nWe also recommend registering separately for Lavender Law\, although this is not required to participate in our Annual Meeting and Conference or any of our events.  The National LGBTQ+ Bar Association has established a reduced registration rate of US $250 for judges.
