New York Association of Lesbian and Gay Judges Holds Annual Dinner

The New York Association of Lesbian and Gay Judges held its annual dinner on January 17th at the Trinity Place Restaurant in lower Manhattan.

Co-sponsored by the Richard C. Failla LGBTQ Commission of the New York State Courts, the dinner drew more than 50 LGBTQ judges and allies. The two organizations recognized New York Court of Appeals Chief Judge Janet DiFiore for her “commitment to inclusion and diversity in the courts.” Association member and Deputy Chief Administrative Judge George Silver gave remarks before the Chief Judge accepted her award.
