Members of the IALGBTQ+J are cordially invited to attend our 2019 Annual Meeting and Conference. We will meet at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown from August 7 to 9, 2019, in conjunction with the National LGBT Bar Association’s Lavender Law Conference and Career Fair.

6:30pm to 8:30pm – IALGBTQ+J President’s Happy Hour for IALGBTQ+J members and guests at Philadelphia Mayor’s Reception Room 

Thursday, August 8, 2019
9:00am to 5:00pm – Lavender Law Conference
Lavender Law panels of particular interest:

• 10:45am-12:15pm – Turning Crumbs into Wedding Cake: What We Can Learn From the Historic Role of State Courts in Relationship Recognition
• 2pm-3:30pm – Pathways to the Judiciary
• 3:45pm-5:15pm – SOGI Issues in the Courts: What Courts Are Doing to Assure Procedural Fairness and Advance Access to Justice for LGBTQ+ Court Users

Potential activities for IALGBTQ+J guests and members:

• 10am: Tour the world famous Barnes Museum and the Rodin Museum
• 10:30am: Tour the National Constitution Center
• 10:30am: Tour the kid-friendly Franklin Institute

12:00pm to 1:30pm – IALGBTQ+J Annual Meeting – IALGBTQ+J members
2:00pm to 5:00pm – Nuts & Bolts Academy (invited participants only)
10:30am to 3:30pm – Potential activities for IALGBTQ+J members and guests:

• Tour the National Museum of American Jewish History
• Tour the Museum of the American Revolution

5:00pm to 8:00pm – IALGBTQ+J Annual Dinner at Branzino – IALGBTQ+J members and guests
8:30pm to 10:30pm – Karaoke Bar sing-along (limited to the first 20 registrants)

• Lavender Law Conference events are open only to Lavender Law registrants unless otherwise noted.
• This schedule is subject to change.

To attend the Annual Meeting and Conference, you must be a current member of the IALGBTQ+J; there is no additional fee to attend our Annual Meeting and Conference.

Please note that Members are encouraged to register as judicial participants in the LGBT Bar’s Lavender Law Conference. For members of the IALGBTQ+J, there is a special judicial rate of $200. If you are not a current member of the IALGBTQ+J, the regular judicial rate is $320. Conference registrants may participate in any of the forums, education programs and social events sponsored by Lavender Law.
