Honorable Don Eldridge Gorton III

Honorable Don Eldridge Gorton III

Judge Gorton served as a Judge from 1997 to 2008.  Prior to becoming a judge, he was a national leader on anti-bullying best practices and as well as anti-hate crime legislation. June 12, 2010, Judge Gorton served as the Grand Marshall of the 40th anniversary of the Boston LGBT Pride Parade.

A 1985 graduate of Harvard Law, Judge Gorton served on the Gay & Lesbian Review (formerly the Harvard Gay & Lesbian Review) from the mid-1990’s until his passing in December 2022.  He wrote extensively on history, literature, politics and pop culture.
