Name Change To Be Finalized At Annual General Meeting

Our Annual General Meeting will convene at 12:15 p.m. on Friday, August 24th, at the Washington Hilton in Washington, D.C., site of the 2012 Annual Lavender Career and Law Conference. Among many exciting items on the Agenda is a vote to finalize last year’s resolution that the necessary steps be taken to change the name of the Association to the “International Association of LGBT Judges” to appropriately identify our goals, objectives and the composition of our membership.

Members and those persons eligible for membership should let Judge Larnzell Martin, Jr., our secretary, know as soon as possible of your plans to attend the Annual General Meeting, the reception on August 23rd and the Annual Dinner on the evening of August 24th. Spouses and partners are expected to attend the reception and Annual Dinner.
