2026 Annual Meeting and Conference
Registration Opens Soon!
Our fabulous Annual Meeting and Conference will be held July 12-15, 2026, in Chicago, IL. The big event is scheduled in conjunction with Lavender Law, the annual conference of the U.S.-based National LGBTQ+ Bar Association. Our Annual Meeting and Conference attracts judges from multiple countries, including Canada, the U.K., Australia, the U.S., and others.
There is no cost for current members to attend the President’s Reception, the annual meeting, the Judicial Education Institute, and karaoke, but members must register to attend. Because karaoke is limited to 40 people, each member and guest must register for karaoke to attend. Members may bring one +1 to the President’s Reception (though a separate ticket must be purchased if the guest is also attending the Second City show) and to karaoke at no additional charge. Nonmembers may not attend the annual meeting or the institute.

Members and their guest may purchase an All Access Conference Pass for $185 each, which includes a ticket to Second City’s “Pandemonium, Please Hold,” following the President’s Reception on Sunday, July 12th, at 7:00pm, as well as the Association’s Annual Dinner at Harry Carey’s Italian Steakhouse in River North on Tuesday, July 14th, at 6:00pm.
Members may also purchase admission for Drag Brunch on Sunday, July 12th, at noon for $67 (includes meal and unlimited Mimosas and Bloody Marys). Members may also purchase one +1 ticket for this event. Limited tickets are available.
Members may purchase a +1 for the Second City show for $67 or for the annual dinner for $130. Limited tickets are available.
Members are encouraged to register for Lavender Law to take full advantage of the conference. Our members’ rates are significantly reduced, to $350. As a reminder, only Lavender Law conference registrants may participate in luncheons, forums, education programs, and social events sponsored by the LGBTQ+ Bar Association. Members not registered for Lavender Law will receive name badges indicating that they may only attend “judges only” events.
Finally, the International Association of LGBTQ+ Judges has reserved a room block at the nearby Hyatt Regency McCormick Place Chicago. Hotel registration is available here.
